Mike & Tony's Gyros at 5980 University Boulevard, Moon, Pennsylvania.

If I could give you a zero, I would. I visited the restaurant at 515 PM on Friday evening and was seated shortly thereafter. At 650 pm we still did not have our food. Here are just a few of the excuses we were given:

1. We are busy.....well I would hope so did you open a business hoping you'd be slow?

2. We are training some kitchen staff.....might have been a better idea to do that prior to opening. Right?

3. We are busy....see excuse #1

4. We are trying..... undoubtedly, but come on over an hour and a half for some Gyros? Isn't it as simple as shave, throw in pita, add lettuce, and tomatoes and done.

5. We are working on it now....this came from a manager at 6:50 and by that time it really wasn't that busy.

All and all terrible experience. Waitress was average at best, atmosphere was slightly better than average. Oh, as far as the food goes, couldn't tell ya I went home and had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead. I will NEVER return even if the food was free.

If you are searching for a good Gyro a quick trip to Giant Eagle will take about 45 seconds to prepare and you can enjoy before you know it.
